QMP is a family-friendly venue and visitors are asked to be respectful of other visitors and staff. We have zero tolerance for drunken, drug-affected, rude, socially unacceptable or violent behaviour.

Camping at QMP

Stay a while and enjoy QMP for even longer. Our unpowered camping area has plenty of room for the whole family - and their bikes!

Camping is just $5 per person per night. Our amenities block offers clean toilets and hot showers ($2). You can also enjoy a fire in one of our fire drums.

Whether you're bringing your swag, camper trailer or Base Station, we have the perfect camping spot for you!

Camping & Day Use

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Parents must supervise children at all times, especially after hours.

In case of emergency after hours – call 000.

An AED machine is accessible at the office at the top of the hill. This is also the best place for phone reception if needed.

Camping Rules

  • Respect other campers and keep noise to a minimum. Do not operate generators before 7am or later than 9pm.
  • Vehicle Movement is to be kept to a minimum in camp areas. Low Beam headlights are to be used when driving through camping areas at night.
  • All fires to be contained in fire drums.
  • All rubbish to be placed in bins provided.
  • Music should be kept at a minimum and not contain offensive or obscene language.
  • No glass/cans to be burnt in fire drums.

General Conduct

  • No dogs or other pets are allowed.
  • Park facilities and infrastructure are not to be damaged in any way. Persons damaging park property will be evicted and may be banned for a period of time.
  • Violence and/or abuse are strictly prohibited and will result in eviction and reporting to police as needed.
  • Firearms, archery equipment, chainsaws, fireworks or similar equipment is prohibited at QMP.
  • Vehicles and/or motorcycles are not to be operated by persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Seatbelts and/or other approved restraints are to be used by drivers and passengers in all vehicles at all times.
  • Passengers are not to be carried in/on the back of utilities or trucks.
  • All instructions from QMP staff and management are to be complied with immediately.

Breach of rules

  • Any rider, spectator, camper or contractor found in breach of these rules will receive a warning and/or be evicted from the park.
  • QMP Staff may involve the local police in incidents that require police attention.
  • After any breach of these requirements resulting in police action, eviction or removal from the park, the patron shall forfeit any money paid and remain liable for restitution for any damage caused.
  • The patron may also be banned from attending QMP for a period of time.
